一場撲朔迷離、暗潮洶湧的諜對諜的戲碼。由強尼戴普、安吉莉娜裘莉夢幻組合演出。

法國警方奉命跟監美女間諜伊萊斯（安吉莉娜裘莉飾）的行蹤，希望能查出她的男友涉嫌七億歐元金融罪犯--亞歷山大的下落，伊萊斯接到男友請快遞送來的一封信，指示她前往里昂車站搭火車到威尼斯去，隨便找個男人搭訕，誘騙警方上當，再伺機見面，伊萊斯挑中的男人則是來自美國數學老師法蘭克（強尼戴普飾），兩人一見鍾情，共進晚餐並住進高級飯店總統套房。

但是索債的俄羅斯黑道適時介入，英國警方亦查明了法蘭克的身份，認定他是不知情的第三者，急著想把法蘭克拋開，以釣出亞歷山大，但是為愛癡迷的法蘭克就是不肯離去，寧願冒著生命危險，也要協助援救伊萊斯....

本片重拍2005年蘇菲瑪索主演的法國驚悚間諜片《色計》，《竊聽風暴》導演賀克唐納斯馬克最新作品，強尼戴普、安吉莉娜裘莉主演。
