·本片從2006年起就開始籌拍，後來卻由於金融危機而險些流產，直到6年之後的2012年才正式上映，
·林弼成導演稱贊柳承范是一個天生的創造者，並表示柳承范對表現喪屍狀態時的呼吸聲音、走路方式都提出瞭自己的建議，而劇組也都予以瞭采用。他還開玩笑稱，要在韓國找一個超越柳承范的喪屍會非常困難。
·實力男星樸海日在片中為機器人RU-4配音。
