宮崎駿（Miyazaki Hayao），日本知名動畫導演、動畫師及漫傢，1941出生於東京，1963年進入東*動畫公司，1965年與同事太田朱美結婚，並育有兩子，1985年與高畑勳共同創立吉蔔力工作室。宮崎駿在全球動畫界具有無可替代的地位，迪士尼稱其為“動畫界的黑澤明”。其動畫作品大多涉及人類與自然之間的關係、和平主義及女權運動。
