【內容簡介】

     蘇德戰爭爆發，靠近波蘭邊境的白俄羅斯小城布列斯特要塞最先遭受德軍炮火突襲，但守衛部隊於彈丸之地牽制了數十倍於自己的德軍兵力。戰爭進行到第30天，最初打響戰鬥的布列斯特守備部隊仍在堅守，並一直向後方總部發出「這裡是要塞，正在戰鬥」的訊息。在已經失守的布列斯特要塞的地道裡堅持戰鬥一年多的最後一名蘇軍戰士，被德國人發現時，他被德國人從地穴中押出來刺眼的陽光讓他幾乎失明。面對德國將軍的審問，他的回答是： 「將軍，現在您知道一俄裡有多遠了吧？」 （戰前德軍宣稱這個距蘇德邊境僅一俄裡的要塞一個衝鋒就能拿下）本片就是取自這場戰役中的真實故事改編。
