Princess burns incense with tears
願喪生回謝爹娘
Hope to die for my parents
我偷偷看 偷偷望
I look at him secretly
佢帶淚帶淚暗悲傷
He is sad, in sadness with tears
我半帶驚惶 怕駙馬 惜鸞鳳配
I'm rather scared that, prince consort treasures the wealth
不甘殉愛伴我臨泉壤
does not go to underworld with me
男：寸心盼望能同合葬
Just want to be buried with you
鴛鴦侶相偎傍
Lovers hug each other
泉台上再設新房
Set a new room in the grave
地府陰司裡再覓那平陽門巷
Find a house at the street in the underworld
女：唉惜花者甘殉葬
Sigh lover's willing to die
花燭夜難為駙馬飲砒霜
Sorry to make you drink poison this night
男：江山悲災劫
The country is ruined
感先帝恩千丈 與妻雙雙叩問帝安
Thanks for late emperor's kindness, I greet him with my wife
女：唉盼得花燭共諧白髮
Sigh wish to have a long marriage life
誰個願看花燭翻血浪
Who wants to see deadly wedding night
唉我誤君累你同埋孽網
Sigh I have pulled you into such a plight,
好應盡禮揖花燭深深拜

再合巹交杯墓穴作新房
And drink with cup crossed, tomb's our bridal room
待千秋歌讚註駙馬在靈牌上
Let people praise prince consort on spirit tablet

Ming's Prince Consort sees his bride
夜半挑燈有心作窺妝

願與夫婿共拜相交杯舉案
I'm willing to bow, eat and drink with husband
男：遞過金杯慢咽輕嘗
Pass the gold cup, sipping lightly
