阿藍是一隻瀕臨絕種的斯皮克斯金剛鸚鵡，同時，他也是琳達的愛鳥，共同相依為命的住在二手書店樓上，阿藍的個性十分的害羞還有點宅；有一天，一名神秘人物突然現身書店，其實他是來自巴西的鳥類專家杜立歐。杜立歐自認能說鳥語，並向琳達解釋他到訪的理由。原來阿藍是一隻很稀有的鳥，甚至可能是他的種類中僅存的唯一公鳥，因為杜立歐最近在裡約救了一隻母斯皮克斯金剛鸚鵡-珠兒，他希望能讓二隻鳥兒認識彼此成為戀人，經過努力思考，加上身邊朋友們的努力遊說，琳達和阿藍終於同意離開溫暖的家。
第一次珠兒見到阿藍，珠兒打死也不信竟有這麼這麼遜的鳥兒，珠兒恨不得可以瘋狂逃離這場『相親』鬧劇，但是萬萬沒想到這場『逃脫行動』，竟然讓自己和阿藍起了不可思議的化學作用，終於開始欣賞彼此的想法，並且喜歡相互的陪伴，不過後頭竟然出現了野心的惡人想將兩隻鳥兒佔為己有，好不容易在一起的鳥兒因此還展開了一場冒險之旅，後有壞人的追捕，在這個美麗如花的巴西大都市， 緊張刺激的旅程即將帶給所有影迷一場最歡樂無窮的視覺饗宴。
