某小行星上一座地球聯邦軍隊的基地遭受蟲子軍團的襲擊，強襲艦雅麗莎號的官兵奉命前往小行星營救幸存者，但是他們到瞭基地卻發現這裡已經一片狼藉。超能力戰略的重要官員卡爾·詹金斯強行將戰列艦John A Warden號的指揮權搶在自己手中，肩負著神秘使命先行離開，而戰列艦的艦長--強尼o瑞克的舊相識卡門卻被留業已成廢墟的小行星基地內。在基地炸毀的千鈞一發，雅莉莎號兵士救出瞭受困的卡門以及隸屬該基地的K-12小隊的少數幸存者。這群幸存者中，還有因為反抗詹金斯的命令而被囚禁起來的原K-12小隊的隊長亨利。這群熱血男兒必須想方設法找到失蹤的戰列艦John A Warden號……
