DJ Gruv:
American-born DJ Gruv aka Derald Reynolds – Gruvmusic Founder, has been DJ-ing and exploring his passion since the age of 13. During his teenage years he was a bedroom DJ getting the occasional ‘house party’ gig. His DJ-ing career took off upon entering university, when he joined a local DJ group called ‘Dirty 8 Productions’ in North Carolina. He would soon become a dominant force on the local scene.
DJ Gruv moved to Hong Kong in 1997. He started on the scene by playing at underground venues and soon began to make a name for himself. Since he started his DJ-ing, he’s played along with international artists and DJs such as De La Soul, Biz Markie, Smokin’ Joe, James Fierce, and Sandy Riviera. His signature sound ranges from Hip-Hop to mix mash.
